Well, I was hit with a fit of... I'm not sure what exactly, but anyway...

Someone out there in the Internets made the following picture

Image

Which then someone else cropped to just have Rei

And then today I coloured Rei. I don't know why, it just looked like it needed colour

Image

So yeah, I did nothing but the colouring job, but I figured I might as well share.

Very cool. Do you have a full body drawing? Chainswords please! :D

Sadly no, the top image is all that was drawn. It would have to be some intrepid other artist who would have to create something like that, as I only coloured the cropped version of Rei.

Where'd you get the picture, anyways? Now I want to see other pictures of the Eva pilots in the 40th millenium.

By the way, anyone else picture Asuka as a Space Wolf?

I have no idea where it came from initially, but the original one was posted on /tg/, the only part of a certain nexus of Internet evil I ever gaze upon. So not a clue as to the identity of the artist.

Whoever made that is going to die a horrible death from bolter rounds. She can't be a Space Wolf, since there are no female Space Marines.

Got some nerd rage going there Schatten? Ah well, can't say I blame you, female marines annoy me to because of the complete dismissal of fluff and the Sororitas required to justify them. And dismissing the Sororitas is asking for a world of hurt. After all, Sister Mary Napalm can take down two gargants single-handed while three months pregnant, and she needs nothing more than her faith, her flamer, and her incredible sarcasm.

It's hard for me to imagine a Sister of Battle deciding to make herself NON-combat effective for up to nine months so she could have a baby. Is Sister Mary Napalm in the fluff from Games Workshop, or is she a character you created?

I can't imagine Games Workshop, at least not since Second Edition, actually naming a character something so ridiculous as "Sister Mary Napalm."

(No offense to Academia if he indeed made it up himself, of course. ;))

Turn Signals on a Land Raider

(And after tomorrow the link to the part where it is mentioned should be here)

Totally non-canonical, but so in character for a Sister of Battle. She somehow managed to set her Space Marine boyfriend on fire without her flamer once while "purging" him.

Technically, the Adeptus Sororitas have four major category of Orders.

There's the Orders Militant, the one you normally hear about. There's the Orders Hospitallers, who feed and care for the sick, injured, and poor. The Orders Famulous, who take care of the households of Imperial Governors and Nobles. Finally there's the Orders Dailogous, linguists who translate the numerous dialects used throughout the Imperium and decipher Xenos scripts.

So, only the Orders Militant need to worry about being combat effective at all times. But you're about as likely to see a pregnant Sororitas as often as you see a pregnant nun, for much the same reasons.

Oh man, that's the webcomic Uts pointed out to me as exactly how not to do a 40K comic strip. :P
