Our dogs

Aaah, my dogs. How I love them so.

This is Jess. While she enjoys an occasional stroke, she isn't very outwardly affectionate, which makes me wonder if my wuv is gettin through to her.

She doesn't seem especially interested in the camera.

This is Lucy. She is far more boisterous. When we first got her she and Jess had this whole "top dog" rivalery going on.

She has a mysterious past of drug dealing, abusive owners, or so I'm told.

Milo. An Italian Greyhound, also known as an iggy. Frankly, I can't seem to forge any kind of real relationship with Milo, mostly because he doesn't want to have much to do with me in the first place and any good things that I do for him he doesn't really associate with me. I still try to love him as much as I can though.

Lucy and Jess are both greyhounds.

Rescued hounds, I'm guessing?

Jess was effectively a reject racer. Her owners were fine to keep her, but they have an excess of "pet" dogs anyway, so they said if anyone was willing to take her off their hands they wouldn't mind.

Lucy was a rescue hound. Her existance came to our attention when our mother went on a walk with Jess. A couple asked if that was the rescue hound they had heard about in the paper. We couldn't resist.

Milo has no special story, we just picked him up from a breeder. It was a choice between him or a white and orange one. I voted the orange one, but was shot down. So we picked him up.

I couldn't be arsed to read the comments but those dogs DO have a racing hound air about them. And I'm glad two more animals found a loving home.
And nice pics.
