When I was in high school, Billy Squier was cool. Until this video came out! "Rock Me Tonite"

I was looking at some of his other videos the other day and boy did he fuck things up with the Rock Me Tonight video.

YouTube even had him doing a Christmas song with something like all the MTV staff and it was even moderately cool. I never realized how big he must have been for a short time. I think I misssed most of it because our area didn't get MTV until after he crashed and burned. I certainly remember "the Stroke" being huge on the radio but that's about it.

It's too bad that things tanked for him. I like a lot of his songs.


EDIT: Just watched "Rock Me Tonight" again. I really hoped that at some point Billy Squier kicked the shit out of the director, or the choreographer who convinced him to do that crap.

Haha, that was fantastic. Though I preferred it when Jennifer Beals did those moves, and it was called Flashdance.

That's fucking terrible. Who the hell convinced him to do that??
