I finally got around to finishing one of the projects I had laying around in the basement for probably two months.









Yes, that's the Nerf Recon. And yes, it has a brass barrel and breech. Dremels are awesome.

What I'm working on now:

Nerf? Come on man, move up to airsoft.

PS. Why does it have a brass barrel and breech?

I've left 1" diameter welts and drawn blood with Nerf guns. I don't think any sane person would play airsoft with me, especially after I've had a chance to tinker with them.

It's got a brass barrel and breech because one day I decided that the stock plastic barrel and breech sucked, as it leaked too much air and wasn't accurate enough; so I cut it apart with the dremel and started to replace what I had ripped out with brass. Then, I forgot about it for two months.

Now that I'm back on my ADHD meds though, I can actually plan out and follow through crazy projects again!

At first I thought the grey part on the Nerf Recon was duct tape.
