What are people's favourite "story" music videos?

You know the ones that I'm talking about. Where there is an ongoing story through the clip.

Da Funk by Daft Punk would be one of my favourites.

I'm still thinking about others... There's a few that I can see, but can't think of the song or band name.

Not only is it a kickass song, but it it's fun interpretation of I Am Legend. Win-win, if you ask me.

I had forgotten about the disclaimer about not believing in the occult that was put at the beginning of the video.

It's also kind of sad seeing this video and putting it together with how completely fucked up Michael Jackson is now.

I like Coldplay's The Scientist video.

Even though I don't really like the song, I have to say that Prodigy's Smack my Bitch Up was a pretty good story music video with a surprising twist.

Interstella 5555 was produced specifically for the album Discovery. Daft Punk took their album, and the story idea, to Tokyo in the hopes of getting their favourite creator, Leiji Matsumoto*, to work on the project with them.

It probably is cheating because it's a series of music videos all strung together into a feature film.

*This was the guy behind Space Battleship Yamato and Uraniun's favourite anime, Captain Harlock.
