Has anyone looked at this book yet? I think it's supposed to have come out already, but I'm not sure. It's called "Age Of TV Heroes: The Live-Action Adventures Of Your Favorite Comic Book Characters", and the cover art was done by Ross. The Adam West Batman and George Reeves Superman are nothing short of awesome.

May I be the first to say that you look Good, REAL good in that picture? Because I really think you do.

Batman...well he's looking alright I guess. Like he's going to the disco.

Supes, check
Bats, Check
WonderWoman, check
Capt. Marvel, check (and what a cheesy 70s show that was)

... Where's ISIS? She was in a PowerHour with Capt. Marvel!

Superman and Batman without the ridiculous bulging muscles look far more heroic. I'd sooner believe this cover's Batman is an incognito millionaire than I'd believe it of, say, this version.

Speaking of Alex Ross, I love his Barack Obama print that been turned into a t-shirt:

That's ridiculous. West's flabby ass couldn't do ANYTHING that The Batman is supposed to be able to do. Ross's style doesn't eliminate muscle, it just eliminates the definition of the traditional super hero "spandex".

I used to have an Isis comic book from that show. It may still be somewhere in my collection.

I remember ElectraWoman and DynaGirl slightly. IIRC there were a lot of live action shows on Saturday morning that year. EW and DG at least had a cool theme song, at least I remember thinking it was cool at the time, or maybe it was the theme song to Dr. Shrinker that I liked. I do remember that Kaptain Kool and the Kongs sucked and that Wonder Bug wasn't as fun to watch as the animated Speed Buggy.
