Havokeff's Marvel Universe Project

So, my dumb ass decided to do this with the Marvel characters as well. I am never going to get these done. :)
Here is the first of many. Just a little more than a rough. Anyone want to chime in on which costume to use for the Wasp? She has only had about 50.
They should be the same size as the DCU characters, so theoretically, they could all mesh together.

Sorry hav, I'm not exactly up to date with The Wasp, so I can't help. Looks like a good start. I like what you're doing with the Vision, though.

I nominate the one she was wearing in Marvel Zombies, if only because that series was awesome. Speaking of which, any chance of including Colonel America? Pretty please? :D

Very cool! I really like your renditions of each character and as for teh wasp, maybe a black and yellow striped unitard that shows massive cleavage is in order!

Given the classic Iron Man armor and the Giant-Man uniform, one would think that the original Wasp uniform would be ideal. Was there any particular reason you chose Pym's Giant-Man identity? Personal favorite?

Yes. That, and I liked Scott Lang as Ant-Man, as he was in that role when I first fell in love with comics and began reading Iron Man and who is whom I associate with the character. I've always associated Pym with Giant-Man, Goliath and Yellow Jacket.
I'm not sure if her original costume goes along with the Giant-Man costume and mark IV armor. If he was still in his Ant-Man garb and Stark was in the Original Grey, or mark II Golden Avenger armor, it would be fitting. Of course part of Van Dyne's character is constantly redesigning her own costume, so any I choose should be fine. You advocate the original though?

I always preferred this costume for the Wasp:

It was with one of the first Marvel comics I read, or at least the first ones I read that had her character in it. Pym was Yellowjacket at the time, though, if that's a deal-breaker.

Edit: Here is a good site that has all of her costumes.

Add one more to that, as I couldn't find it anywhere on that site:

It's also probably the easiest one you could do, except maybe that black bikini. :D

I just remember one of the old X-men when they were at the Avenger's mansion and Kitty Pryde tried to barrow some of the Wasp's old coustumes....

Nice.

I especially like the contrast in size of Wolverine and Colossus. So often Wolverine's height isn't properly shown in a lot of artwork.

Nightcrawler looks very demonic and have Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver ever actually been X-Men? I thought they went straight from the Brotherhood to the Avengers. Or are they and beast on the border between the X-Men and the Avengers as they are related to both?

Nice work on Colossus.

And yes, Logan's posing is as priceless as your posing of the Joker back on the DC Villains piece...

I don't recall them being members, but yes on bridging the gap, along with Beast and Wolverine, from the Avengers to the X-men.

Some great, and amusing, posing there. Nightcrawler looks especially good there.
