As I mentioned a couple of Venting threads ago, I'm getting a Bengal kitty later this spring. On April 24th, to be exact. So after that point there will probably be regular updates to this thread, but in the meanwhile, here is what I have gotten from the breeder so far.

First, mommy and the newborns:

And this here kitty is the little one I'm waiting for. Isn't she a beauty? :D

Oh, and these two are the ones she will be terrorizing:

The Bengal kitty is preeeety. (Though it's eyes are weirdly huge, will the proportions even out as it grows?). Pinkku is also cute :)

Pinkku has blue eyes! Thats pretty unusual for an adult cat isn't it?

Usually yes, but he's a ragdoll. Ragdolls and St. Birmas all have blue eyes and Pinkku's eyes are actually a very light blue compared to norm. Some of them have a very intense deep blue.

Some types of Bengal can also have blue eyes, but the kitty will probably have green ones.

Delightful! The pictures make me want to move a little more to my wife's cat persuastion, although I'm still ultimately on the dog side of things. :)

All kittens have disproportionately big eyes. Keep in mind, at the age she is, you could hold her in the palm of your hand.

AW! Cute!

The third picture in the 'just her' series is begging for the caption:
"You did what?"

Edi - You should totally let us name your new kitteh with nominations and a vote poll. You KNOW everyone would participate, since we're all attention whores, and naming your cat ould effectively immortalize on of us at least :D

You should make a video where you wave a finger from side to side off screen so all the babies follow it in unison. They're adorable. :)

Thanks, guys! :D

I haven't chosen a name for her yet, but I've been leaning toward Rania. Sorry Chardok, not going to be a vote poll here, because my GF would get veto override in any case. And she's said she's fine if I do decide on Rania.

The baby cats are with breeder in Oulu, on the other side of Finland, so unfortunately that wouldn't be doable. Mine's arriving on April 24th.

I would love to have a ragdoll again -- the one I had when I was at my parents' house was a riot. He also had blue eyes.

The two my wife and I have now are both tabbies, one is a classic and the other is a partial. They're both very silly, but they don't like being held as much as the ragdoll did.

too bad we can't have pets in Yosemite, then again, we would jokingly name them "Coyote Chow"

Are you getting a cat, or a model with four legs and fur?

I think that's a Runway model there, she may grow up to become a Catgirl at this rate.

SQUEEEEEE!

So why do you have to wait so long to get her?

Because the Breeders are make sure she's ok, fully weened and housebroken, not to mention gotten all her shots etc.

Precisely. Kitties need to be 12 or 13 weeks old before being fully weaned, otherwise they may develop psychological problems. Plus the shots & other stuff, but those are the less urgent ones, as I'd have them done anyway.

Thanks for the compliments, people! :D

I think that means she likes it.

The kitty is cute.

Question: I noticed the litter of kitterns had a fairly diverse set of fur. Is that normal?
