cake scale suggestions

As some who notice the thread about the response on another forum about my fire truck cake, I am planning on making one this 9/11 for the fire-station near my house.

I am just wondering what scale i should plan for?

1. Ding Dong sized wheels: This cake would be about 2 1/2 times the size of my first truck cake.

2. Normal Oreo cookie scale: This cake would be roughly 2 times the size of the original

3. Mini Oreo wheels: The same size as last time.

What are your suggestions and thoughts on the size I make the next fire truck?

Edit: The bigger the cake the more detail and the more cake I'd need. If I make the bigger cakes I would have enough extra to make perhaps a police car or fire chief car cake.

Go the Ding-Dongs. Might as well hit them up with a seriously big cake. :)

I'll need a much bigger ladder too then. Not that hard. Should I take the effort to make a fire nozzle out of shoestring licorice and royal icing as well?

Edit: It looked much smaller on their site. I shrank it
