What kind of camera are you using, by the way? You have some surprisingly good focus on some of the flying shots.

I bought the store's display model for peanuts.

As for the focus that is all luck. I couldn't see the screen on the back because of the bright sun so until I got home had no idea what I had shot as i was stuck using the viewfinder.

There's one picture in there of a plane in the air, it's kind of blurred. To me it looks like a P-38 Lightning. Was there a P-38 or is it just my imagination?

Did you get to sit in any of the cockpits of any of the planes? What did you think of the ones you could see up close?

No P-38, sorry.

I didn't have time to sit in any of the planes my ride was in a hurry to leave so I got as many on the ground pics as I could and missed out on that part. I did take the tour of the Lancer.

You WHAT?? This is horseshit. You got more planes than our airshow AND you were allowed to look inside a B-1? So not fair!!

Hill Air Force Base is where they repair and refurbish B-1's . I think we get a few extra perks here.

We also got a longer version of the Thunderbirds show because this is where they were painted and refurbished at.

Edit: They also work on the F-16, A-10, and the F-22. So we get to see them flying about all the time. I work at Weber State and they are always flying B-1's, A-10, F-16's, and F-22 over on flight tests. F-16's all the time on training flights but when they finish fixing up the others they fly them all at least once before shipping them out.
