Our Bomb Appraisal Officers at the airport got together with the Air Force EOD personnel at Nellis and arranged a demo for us the other day.
A couple movies are after the pictures.

My boss made it a point to tell me repeatedly I could not take home souvenirs.

Co workers and various other federal agents.
They rigged up a chicken with a blasting cap inside. I offered to provide a live chicken next time.
It is unwise to wrap a a chicken or your hand around a blasting cap.

Since when did TSA get those blue shirts? I thought they used white. And them badges look like real badges, not the sewn on patches with "TSA" written on them. Or is this because you're "Bomb Appraisal Officers" and the poor screeners make do with the cheap stuff?

We changed over uniforms last year as part of a roll of a new agency culture. The uniforms themselves are still POS but they're slightly better looking POS. The cops had a cow when they found out we were being issued badges.
I'm 007 for my airport.

Nice.
BTW, that one Hispanic looking officer leaning against the wall in your "Co workers and various other federal agents" is pretty hot. She can pat me down anytime.

Another example of why I'm not allowed to speak during any of our official training. When we started our basic screener training they would tell us that the X Ray machine would help protect us in the even of a blast. Its not good to call bullshit on your first day of training and its just gone down hill since then. I'm lucky I got invited to this one
