Tsarist Murder Machine...

Destroyer Boevoi; Combrig kit, 1/700 scale.

Built by Laird's, Birkenhead; laid down in 1898 and competed in 1900 as Som, re-named Boevoi in 1902.
As part of the First Pacific Squadron, she was torpedoed by a Japanese picket boat on July 24th, 1904, made Port Arthur but was never repaired; scuttled at the end of the siege, January 2nd, 1905.

Length - 213 ft WL (64.9 m)
Beam - 21 ft 6 in (6.55 m)
Draft - 9 ft 7 in (2.9 m)

Speed - 27.5 kts

Armament - 1 - 75mm, 5 - 47mm, 2 - 15 in (381mm) torpedo tubes.
