...so while I uploaded a bunch of these pics to photobucket I thought I could throw the link in here, too.The full album can be viewed here.
We got married 9/11/09 so the joke of the day was of course how I'd have an easy time remembering my wedding day - when there's planes crashing into buildings on TV, go buy flowers
Me and the Missus

Me and two goddesses (for the history buffs: the building behind us, where we got married, is the Altes Rathaus of Regensburg, which was the seat of the permanent Reichstag of the Holy Roman Empire from 1663 to 1806. Oh, and the car's a 1971 Citroen DS.)

Family picture

Me during the Holzscheitlknien, one of those obligatory rituals people like to impose on grooms. You have to kneel on a log and tell your new wife ten or twenty things you love about her before you're allowed to get up again.

I had to do the kneeling to ransom the bridal bouquet which had been stolen by the bride maids... another one of those rituals

Friends congratulating

This is one of my oldest friends, solely responsible for a great deal of the ~150 beers that have been consumed

My wife really liked the cake

My new brother-in-law's band (second guitar player from the right)

There was alcohol involved

Our dancing "skills"

Even my grandma was partying until the wee hours

So much for a quick overview. All in all, good day
