Simplicius's Sig wrote:"Six rolls? We could have covered World War II in two fucking frames - one for the battle scene, and one for the generals shaking hands!"
I love this quote, although I have no idea what the context is. Those are the thread rules.

Context wrote:This reminded me of the old guys I knew at my first newspaper who started their careers shooting sports with a 4×5 Speed Graphic. One gentleman in particular–Zeke–looked over my shoulder one day and saw the film I was getting ready to soup from an assignment. I knew Zeke had covered the invasion of Normandy, incredibly, with a Speed Graphic. He took a drag on his cigar and leaned over and shouted "Six rolls! We could have covered World War II in 2 f*****g frames; one for the battle scene, one for the generals shaking hands!"

It would be grossly inappropriate to post a picture of Nazis shaking hands, preceded by a picture of a horrific atrocity.

Well, I guess they didn't get a shot of Power shaking hands with LeMay...

But nobody's shaking hands! Shep, this is a clear violation of the two picture thesis.

Dammit, I didn't see the rules quite right.
Post withdrawn.

There are at least two posts here that don't make the cut. I say just post the damn pictures.

Yeah, really - if it's THE FEROCIOUS STRUGGLE followed by A JOB WELL DONE I don't see why you oughtn't post it.
