Reminds me of Robotech. Especially the legs.

Very clean lines, this almost looks ready for inks.

Oddly enough, it reminds me of something from Nemo-Ramjet's Snaiad.

Why did you draw a mech with a tentacle penis?

Nice mech. Now you have to ink it. Although the legs look pretty thin.

I really like the look, though I'm not sure its legs would be able to bend like that.

@Phant, JSF, Both provided some inspiration. I got a new TV and was playing some MGS4 recently...

You know what, Crazedwraith is right. I really like this much more than your rectanguloid big slabby battle mechs, its pose is very dynamic, dinosaurian, like a sleek therapod caught mid-stride, its pose is dynamic and very alive. Your mechs generally have neat poses, but this one really works well, with the curves and stuff. I think you really outdid yourself with this one!

No more so than a tentacle does.

Thanks for your input, in truth, I had much more fun drawing this than the last few "squarish" mechs. I've found the "organic" forms of mechs like this to be much easier to dynamically pose and draw overall. I honestly can't think of a reason not to adapt my style to this more often...maybe I'll just have to write the story I have floating in my head for the background for all this stuff.

You should work on using different angles and perspectives.

What are you referring to? There's nothing coming from the crotch.

That's not coming out of its crotch. It's coming out of its belly button. Obviously, some sort of mecha unbilical cord. Clearly, this mech has just been born. Presumably the mother will chew the cord off soon, although it will eventually dry up and fall off on its own if she doesn't.

More seriously, nice drawing. I like the rounded pseudo-organic look it has.
