For what it's worth, I think Steel Panther are actually pretty good musicians, although without the humor element something would be lost.

They seem familiar, but I can't say I really remember them.

I've always had a soft spot for glam metal. It's just so shamelessly ridiculous that I can't help but like it.

And damn, that Steel Panther video is hilarious. The layers of parody and irony in parodying Manowar are dizzyingly byzantine.

I much prefer the Heavy MEtal of the 80s, but there's always good old Quiet Riot
