There was a very big march in Jerusalem this Thursday, organized by the LGBT community in memorial of a vicious attack on a gay youth club in Tel Aviv one year ago.
I missed the march itself, but made it to the later gathering next to the Knesset.

All in all, it's far far smaller than the main march which takes place every year in Jerusalem, but still arespectable turnout.

Makes me happy

We hit obstacles and setbacks, but humanity on the whole seems to be slowly moving forward doesn't it?

There's a very large, visible and active gay community here. It certainly beats the pants out of many us states (SF aside)

I was merely refering to Shlomo Benizri, a Knesset member from the religious Shas party, a member of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's ruling coalition, who blamed earthquakes that had recently struck the Middle East on the activities of homosexuals.

I' m all for gay power and metaphorically sodomizing the fundies.
