We went to the the Toronto digital camera show this weekend to look at all the new gear that's coming out. Some of the gear pictures are already up on page 12 of the Photo Talk tread, but there was a lot more to the show than just gear. Like models. And bodypaint. We'll get to that soon.
The sweep panorama mode using the Sony NEX5. You hold down the button, pan the camera and it automatically makes a giant panoramic picture.
Exploded view of a Sony NEX5
A model getting bodypainted, we'll get back to this soon
Sigma had a model for portrait lighting demonstrations
Canon's penile compensation 600mm/f4 telephoto lens. Depth of field is non-existent on this thing.
Pentax 645D medium format camera
Pentax K-R, in stormtrooper white and Ferrari red
Sony Alpha girl
Studio lighting demo, I can't remember which company this is
Zeiss Ikon and M-mount lens lineup
Almost done with the bodypaint
Kata photo bags, there was something about National Geographic & Africa in the product info
Voluptuous model at the Olympus booth. I was tempted to take her home with me.
The fancy lighting kit setup, there were close to a dozen strobes, beauty lights and reflectors.
We also shot some photos on our film camera, it's going to be a while before we get those developed and scanned.
