Sorry for the pun there, but I couldn't resist. Check these out, and be in awe.

Hmm, if I had enough parts, I could make that... Nice.

On a marginally related note, I spent some time messing around with LeoCAD trying to recreate a model that I made back when I was around 13 (then started using in TGODs a few years later).

The result:

I think he was talking about selling instructions.

Amazing models indeed. They look so real, I feel compelled to take it and shoot something.

Is that even legal? Especially when he's selling lego pieces, too!

I'm wondering why he's even bothering selling instructions when you can download the .DAT files for free.

If you had read the discription more closely, you would have noticed that it came with all the pieces. That is why it costs so much, why you can buy it "pre-assembled", and why he is not offering MP-5's for sale.

And is that a bad thing? People do stuff like this because it's fun.

Yeah, I'd hate to see a cop at night mistake a kid with one of those and blow the kid away...

Ah ... I remember the days when my cousins and I would build lego shotguns with working pumps. I even built the Robocop gun one time; it was fucking sweet. My cousin even built a Bird of Prey once.

Y'know

You've gotta love all the stuff people have done with LEGO. It almost makes me want to register with Bricklink so I can finally make that Ingram (from Patlabor)...but I don't want to give my address for any Tom, Dick, or Harry to get at. :P
