Ooh! A Sherkava, I suppose. I like it.

Good eye. It is a reversed Sherman. It differs from the Merkava in that it is not meant to carry extra troops internally.

True; I was comparing them in the sense that I'm guessing the engine is in the front and the fighting compartment in the rear. How did you get or make the hull? It looks like you've turned around an M4A1 hull and moved it back some (as the original front's mudguards are sticking way out past where they would need to be) and added some bits on at the new "front". I know hardly anything about building models though so I can't imagine how you put that glacis plate on there, which I'm fairly certain is new.

Very good eye. The lower hull is a Brit Firefly I used a cast hull M4A1 upper hull which is considerably shorter and then built up the glasis and fenders with plasticard and putty.
Here is the bucket so you can see the process

Interesting. Does it have two sets of tracks or is that just an illusion?
Also, in that last photograph, what is that in the background? It's probably several kits but from the perspective it looks like the front end of a Hind bonded to the rear and middle of a Chinook with MiG wings attached.

That's a kitbash he's had on here for a little while. Can't be arsed to dig up the link but it should still be on the front page under "get to the choppah". Pretty cool.

Ah yes. Awesome model(s) man!
I would love to see you take on some of the ships from ST or SW. The bigger ones that is

Hey thanks y'all. Yes she has two sets of tracks
The super chopper has B WINGS
So it is sort of Star Wars.
Believe it or not I have plans to turn the Rio Grande Runabout into a Bolo. A buddy of mine is going to whiff it into a train.

It's absolutely fascinating to see your work process. You've given me some ideas on how to do some (very minor) kitbashing of my own. You do a great job!

Thank you very much. For my next project I need a multiplicity of the same bunch of kitbashed parts so I am making molds to cast them. I'll post them up when I get an example.

Man, that is looking really cool. I can't wait to see the final product.
That curtain of chains on the back of the turret reminds me of the masks that tankers used to wear in the First World War.

Looks great! Do you have any more ideas for Texan tanks?
Still, I wonder how both of those would look with camouflage paint. Not that it would help that much with the Lee derivative, the thing's practically a damn skyscraper as it is.

Thanks bubba. I will probably camo the next couple of builds. These were basically exercises as I have never done armor before. The next 2 will be a little bitty hunter/killer/escort vehicle and a big ass double tracked tank destroyer with 3 main guns.

The escort will be a based on the Cz 38 and an Ontos. The big destroyer will have both a IS 1-2 and a ISU-152 .

My hat goes off to your mad modeling skills. They most I've ever managed to do is butcher some fine looking 40k models.

Those both sound awesome too.
Actually, if you want one of my insane ideas, I was imagining a WWII-era version of the
BMPT, possibly based on a BT-7 chassis and armed with recoilless rifles and 23mm VJa cannon.

Very cool, I love seeing kitbashing and full on model making like this. IMHO there is a unique quality to seeing something "real" as opposed to being on paper. Great work!
