Though as of late he is more into catching falling chicken nuggets and helping himself to what's in the fridge than saving the world.

Nice name for a beagle. We named ours Elwood, at first we thought "country singers" but a beagle just doesn't look like a Hank or J.R. to us (needs a scruffier breed), so we went with Blues Brothers.

Sadly, dead for a number of years now, but this was Hoover.

Roosevelt, just over five years old and about thirteen and a half pounds. Simultaneously the smartest and dumbest cat on Earth. I interrupted some personal grooming to get this picture, and you can tell he's displeased.

Almost a week ago my dog injured himself whilst chasing some birds. Apparently he tore a ligament in his right hindleg, requiring an operation.

So Gizmo had his operation today. We picked him up from the vet over an hour ago, and he's pretty weak and groggy. Mum bought him a fancy new bed, and she's tucked him in with a blanket and watching over him like... well, like a mother does.
