Currently at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, there's a part of the building dedicated to a display of props and costumes from the Marvel Cinematic universe. Most of the stuff is from The Avengers, but there is some from Thor, the Hulk movie, and Captain America as well.

Apologies for the glare and reflections, I went in the late afternoon and there are big windows.

As you approach...

Art from The Avengers, and props from Captain America

Yes, that is a Captain America #1 there in the corner. Wonder how much it's worth?

The super-futuristic hydra rifle

Cap's compass

Can you read the text of the article?
Image

Of course he's born on the 4th of July! Of 1925, and he's from New Jersey.
Image

Moving on, here we have stuff from The Avengers
Image

Modern Cap's boots
Image

Unfortunately most of those dossiers are stacked up. Would love to read them.
Image

The now well-known coat, and some other stuff too.
Image

Like these glasses! Wonder how they've stayed intact?
Image

It's a Tesseract!
Image

SLJ, HERO. Also, it's Nic Fury?
Image

Next up, Hawkeye's stuff

Here's the quiver

And conveniently labelled arrows
Image

Here's Black Widow's outfit
Image

And those boots!
Image

They're also labelled inside
Image

Some artwork, plus more props

"Optical torture device"
Image

The stick! Yes, I did want to grab it.
Image

And here's some stuff from Thor
Image

Another hammer!
Image

Name badge and the drawing. I haven't seen the movie so I really have no idea what it is.
Image

No idea who this is either.
Image

See you at the Stark Expo!
Image

A signed poster. It says "To the legendary School of Cinematic Arts, Thanks for letting me be a small part of your Mythic reputation. Sincerely," I can't tell who signed it.

Thanks for visiting!

Very Cool, Hawkwings!

The drawing is something Thor did to try and explain the Yggdrasil world-tree myth. The universe is shaped sort of like a tree, with the nine worlds occupying different levels/branches. The large metal figure is the Destroyer, a sort of enchanted/haunted armor Odin made to fight enemies he could not. In the movie, Loki takes control of it and menaces a town with it, while in the comics Loki usually manipulates someone else into taking control of it.

Tht looks really freaking awesome.
(I'd still trade it all in for a cape and a ring from DC though ;))

Damn, that's in Los Angeles? A bit too far south from where I'll be next month.

That is a really cool museum. I could get lost in a place like that, at least until my wife slapped me upside my head to move me on down the highway of life! :)
