Impact of the Dinokiller

I've been fascinated by the dinokiller since early childhood tv-science programs. But I've been annoyed by the lack of quality art surrounding the event. Can I get any suggesstions for good "impact-art"?
I watched the documentary The Last Days of the Dinosaurs recently. It contained a nice walk-through of the impact-process. I made a sloppy summarization of the various stages of the impact in the picture below.
One thing I had never realized was that it took the K-T impactor roughly five minutes to pass the Atlantic ocean of the late cretaceous.
Must have been an awe-inspiring sight.
