I have been inspired by looking at Fractal's work to make the most detailed and moderately accurate Star Destroyer in Google Sketchup. This is my first WIP images:

As long as I keep my poly count reasonable it is actually not too bad. I need to upgrade my ram though. I am still working on it. The greebling is making my brain hurt.

Great start. Watch that rear tower neck angle.

Does sketchup have layers or proxy/xrefs? That can really help with file performance and management.

I have my greebles, weapons, and engines on seperate layers which I can turn on or off. That seems to be helping with resources.

Do you want detail feedback on the proportions and details?
