Soundtrack covers

Post by Ace Pace »

I've lately been enjoying a lot of movie soundtrack covers. Among the artists that caught my ear lately is Samuel Kim. He's done some covers of Star Wars soundtracks and written original pieces set in the Witcher verse and Star Wars.

There's plenty of other artists like this, such as Lindsey Stirling.

What other artists are you familiar with who do soundtrack covers?

In no particular order off the top of my head for film and game soundtracks:

Alina Gingertail << game music covers mostly
Clamavi de Profundis << mostly Tolkein inspired music
Taylor Davis << Like Lindsay Stirling but a smaller following
2Cellos << as the name says: 2 cellos
The Piano Guys << piano + cello
All people are equal but some people are more equal than others.

Oh I forgot, there's always Two Steps From Hell... you'll recognise their music from almost every blockbuster trailer in the last 20 years.

And of course, there's The Protomen - a rock opera inspired by the mega man games. It's awesome
