The latest nvidia drivers include a desktop manager application that lets you manage your desktop on dual monitors, as well as allowing transperancies on window dragging. There is also an option for taskbar transperancy

If it doesn't show up, just check again an hour later.
For those who want to know, it's Lilith from End of Eva, done by the official character designer, Yoshiyuki Sadamoto.

What's MLCad and Celestia?
Anyways I prefer SciTE over NoteTab, since I like syntax highlighting, and you can collapse elements, and it also does Javascript and C(++).
Don't have a background image, so just put apps up.
System Specs straight out of system information-
Code: Select all
Microsoft Windows 98 4.10.1998
Clean install using Full OEM CD /T:C:\WININST0.400 /SrcDir=E:\WIN98 /IZ /IS /IQ /IT /II /NR /II /C /U:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
IE 5 6.0.2600.0000
Uptime: 0:08:01:34
Normal mode
On "DSIII" as "John Pham"
GenuineIntel Pentium(r) II Processor Intel MMX(TM) Technology
96MB RAM
58% system resources free
Windows-managed swap file on drive C (1921MB free)
Available space on drive C: 1921MB of 3992MB (FAT32)
Available space on drive D: 1016MB of 2176MB (FAT32)
Will put linux screenshots up once I stop nuking it every week (experimenting w/ devfs and more secure permission settings, plus PAM)

MLCAD is short for Mike's Lego CAD, which is a Windows GUI for LCAD, a Lego computer aided drafting programme for DOS. It's really fun.
Celestia is an astronomy simulator. A little like Orbiter, but without the flight simulator aspect (no Orbiter hijacks! Just start your own damn thread!). You pretty much just zoom around in space looking at planets and stars.
Kelly recommended NoteTab to me, since before I just used Notepad. Whatever's good enough for her is good enough for me.
Oh, glad you like my background.
