After seeing Spirited Away, I had a strange urge to make a Haku avatar. I did not, however, want a 'normal' avatar, so I did some Photoshopping, and well...

I haven't cropped/resized it yet or anything, obviously.

Reactions? Praises? Criticism?

The bloodstains are nice, and the minor coloring changes are fitting.

But I find its allegorical theme to be underdeveloped and lacking in substance.

I still say he looks like he got snagged on.


(snagged means "sneezed on", for those who don't know).

I think there's a bukkake joke in this somewhere, but i'm going to pass on the grounds of good taste.

Like the art tho, have you considered doing a random series of images? Famous cartoon characters with bloodstains added? That could be pretty bad ass, Im sure there are some smurfs that could use it, or possibly Jem, or hell, popular kids cartoons from today!

Dunno about that one. Jem defined my sexuality as a young '80s boy, so the bloodstained look would just give me mixed, confused feelings.

Hmm... maybe... I got some ground rules:

1) You must provide a decent-sized picture, along with character name and what series/movie/whatever they are from.

2) You must not complain about how it turns out
