I just ordered it myself, but the offer ends on like June 1st. This is the only catch (yet they say there is no catch), it doesn't include a manual. I'm familiar with Photoshop, but I'm on Ebay right now, hunting down manuals. There's a bunch on here so don't sweat it. Looks like in total it's going to run me about $60 to get this thing. Heh, now all I need is illustrator and pagemaker. Woo Hoo!!!

Hmm... Nah, I'll pass. I've already got Photoshop 6.

I've had several emails over the last couple of weeks trying to sell it to me.

I will definitely let everyone know how it goes. If you check the site, they say there is no manual. I was able to get a sort of teaching guide off of Ebay not long after this post. I'm going to try my college bookstore to see if they have a real one, and probably hit Books a million to see if they have one or maybe even a Dummies guide. Those books are great.

I've heard good and bad things about 7.0, so I'm sticking with 6.0 for now.

I smell bullshit of one sort or another. IMO it's either a burned or stolen copy...and the fact that these guys are located in Vegas does not bode well to me.

Thanks Jet. That just boosts my self esteem there buddy. Do I have high hopes for this venture. I am going to be monitoring the situation closely just in case. I also did it through AOL version 8.0 so it's got some hard tabs on this one.

I think you're getting ripped off. I've deleted hundreds of those. Some promising Norton Anti-virus as well. It's an offer from a spammer so I'd put the odds of it being legit as about that of Earth being obliterated by the Death Star in the next five minutes.

My particular bane is porn-popups embedded in email (which means just opening it will infect you with whatever craptacular spyware/hijax0r/porn-dialer viruses it's loaded with...)
