KooL!

BTW adding a ? at the end of the URL has been known to get around _any_ remote-link block, even Tripod's particularly aggressive one.

it's approaching 40/50 years old as a vehicle... and it represents man's greatest achievement....

Awesome looking thing eh?!

What reference pics did you use?

(You're planning on making a launch sequence, aren't you?)

Is this a launch sequence including Stage Seperations?

Be sure to take a look at the "Apollo 13" launch sequence... CGI so good, the Academy didn't gave it an award for best special effects.

Fun fun fun! Rockets are easy to do with particle emitters and hypervoxels, you can even get the ice falling from the sides if you wish. The hard bit is getting a convincing launch pad and surroundings, although I think Ivor The Engine has a shuttle launchpad over at www.lwg3d.org for download. Good luck with the model.

I downloaded Ivor's pad and stuff, and its REALLY nice. It fills in the booster surroundings nicely. I'm using it. hehe

night launch hooo!
