Well, one I was thinking of involves intercutting Asuka in EVA-02 with an image of her maggot-ridden corpse from End of Eva...

Well, the entire thing would have static throughout, but shaking vertical lines would interrupt the main image and quicky show the corpse (maybe with the main image flickering back quickly in the middle) then shaking vertical lines return to the main image. That's as best as I can describe it now without going to extreme nagging nitpicking detail.

Yeah, sort of. But maybe a little more defined.

what program are you using?

Photoshop 6.0 and Image Ready.

I wonder if that's what sabacc cards would look like, given that they are electronic and even shift faces during play.

I personally dislike both of them. The first is too bright and the second is too distracting.
