Meh, when I tried to use my face as avatar people accused me of being in an ego trip (which incidentally I was). So, shame on you and stick with God.

Use the picture of yourself. You've got a nice Agent of the System/Resevoir Dogs thing going in it.

Use your face, HDS. One recommendation: Tone down that glare just to the right of your face quite severely. If possible, try a subtraction gradient on it starting right on the edge if your face and getting darker as it goes to the right.
