Could anyone give me a pic of those? One on one of them turret things which allow 180 degree rotation and all that shit. Preferably those you see sported on modern day assault vehicles, humvees and the like.

Thanks.

Hmmm..... maybe you guys can also give schematics and such. My dad specifically is looking for those mounted on the Land Rover Wolf.

Got any pics?

EDIT: I need details and whatnot. If anyone can provide stuff like from some manual with all the schematics and shit, I'll be indebted to them.

Thanks everyone.

Hmmm... maybe Sea Skimmer knows some shit about this.

Go here: http://world.guns.ru/machine/mg04-e.htm

Has the specs, a few pics and the history of the weapon, plus practically every other major fire arm or gun used in other nations. Not sure about where to find schematics specifically though.

I'm more interested in the turret where it is mounted on. You know, those turrets on top of humvees and Land Rovers where you attach the guns, them turrets which can spin 180 degrees and such and such.

Oh, and I already know of that site, but like I said, I'm looking for schematics on the turret itself, not the gun. Hmm... maybe I wasn't clear enough when I said what I was looking for, oh well.

my vote for the stupidest looking modern weapon: The AUG/Hbar buily by Styr for the Austrian Army. Looks like somethign you'd power wash your house with.

Try here. Not exactly what you want but it does have some specs on the 1025. I don't think that the ring mount has a designation though, at least I don't remember one, nor for the pintal mount and gimbal for the T&E.

There might be a part number, but what they are????????

Do you think the pintle mount and the ring turret are two seperate items? We need a PDF Hummer Manual.

Well, it seems that the pintal mount does have a part number, as per your post and link. The ring mount though?????

It took me a while, but I found a HMMWV maintenance manual on the web. Here is the link.

Army Logistics Website.

Download TM 9-2320-280-20-3 , it is 35 megs.

You can see a section on turret maintenance on Chap 11-112.

Thanks for all your help, I've tried looking for it, but damn, that thing's too hard to find. Well, my dad got the schematics for the ring mount anyways, but thanks anyway.

Dad's building one for the military and police. Well, nothing big, just for the local dudes, hoping to gain some money.

I'd love to have one to deal with the local commute though
