I have this pic
that I would like to use as my av here, but it's 10Kb (too big to use), and I can't compress it any more than I have already.
Any chance I could get some help?

In Photoshop, go to "save for web" (or something like that). That'll allow you to adjust how many colours it uses (giff) or the compression quality (jpeg).

A)
B)
Note:
A) Done with ArcSoft Photostudio 2000 by moving the Quality bar up or down to best filesize.
B) Done with IrfanView by first reducing colour to 256, then adjusting Save Quality to best filesize.
The "Quality" for both is from a 1 to 100 scale.

Ok, other problem is that when using PS, I always get this weird sepia tone, plus it wants me to set a profile for every picture I open in it.

Don't know about that. Might have to reinstall.

You might have to wipe all the registry and/or any files/folders it leaves around after uninstalling it.

Err...?
By the way, it did this the first time I installed it, immediately after I installed it.
