And No, it's probly not gonna look like this. I would highly appreciate some help about the general design so I can make it as close to how it's described in writing as possible. Lata and Happy Fragging!

How's it described? I have the 'weapons of Star Wars' tech book and I dont remember this thing being mentioned. What film or book are we talking about here?

Apparently it's described vaguely enough that it could look like anything from a modified T-21 to something totally wicked. I'm designing it to have a rugged yet still futuristic look, and modeled rather after an Anti-Materiel Rifle (think Jumbo Sniper Rifle on steroids). I figured it would have a long, massive barrel since I read somewhere that each shot is at least twenty times as powerful as an E-11 blaster carbine. I'm also considering making some improvements on the design, such as an automatic adjustment device to control the gun's firepower: Low for picking off unshielded personnel, Medium for shielded personnel and small vehicles, and High for light armored vehicles.

i think it would need a larger canister, as it uses gas up like a bastard and can only fire 4 shots beforeits useless

Well, I have it drawn. To somewhat solve the blastergas issue, the canister is mounted on a quick-release fitting directly between the trigger group and the power pack, and the bottom of the stock has provision for three spare canisters. The weapon also has a Starvision 1x-20x multispectral scope mounted on a picatinny rail just aft of the carry handle, as well as backup iron sights. The entire weapon also has a hard Aluminum-Titanium-Nitride finish on all metal parts for excellent durability.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to post the gun or my Chevrolet Space Corvette (you read right, I made the Corvette!) until Dalton or Crayz9000 show up on AIM...

Well, just my two cents, start with a T-21, lengthen the barrel, widen the middle of it, tapering to the normal sized hole on the end, add a bipod, scope, and a quick release for the cannister. Anything that'll stabalize that barrel should be considered, as a sniper rifle ideally has a nice, long barrel that can be unwieldy.

And here she is!

Bonus: the Chevy Corvette

EDIT: Damn spaces in the URLs lol

EDIT2: Forgot the .png at the end of the Vette. Hey, I haven't slep in nearly twenty hours LOL!

Looks great except that this was supposed to be a weapon of concealment right? Kind of hard to put an anti-material rifle inside your jacket...

Whoops.

Maybe I'll redesign the thing and call this one the Super Nightstinger. Expect the "real" 'Stinger to look a lot like this one...
