I'm wary that this might be like compliment whoring, which is something that I don't like to do, but it's been suggested to me that I should maybe put my sigbanners of the moment in one thread for feedback and viewing since I remove them based on whims, so here they are.

To date (including the original HAB banner where the style and theme came from):

First and third are nice... If you have a server that supports server-side scripting, you could make a script to display a random one each time it's accessed.

I'd have to check with the person who owns the server. That's a bang-up idea.

You should also do one for your Rei picture. You know, the one where she's singing about pie with her ukelele.

That's a thought, though Singing Ayanami is animated and I don't want to make a huge banner.

How about just a single frame?

It would be great: "This post brought to you by Rei. She likes pie."

Heh, I actually saved that Rei animation back when you first posted it.

I think they're all great, but the more recent ones are better since they're more consistant style-wise.

I like the ones with the ladies, but especially Sunnytown Forced Labor Campgrounds. The wonderful image combined with her line just makes me smile.

Dumb question, but did you draw the characters or get them from somewhere?

I draw them. The HAB banner and Singing Ayanami were drawn and scanned, then done over in Illustrator. The others I made in Photoshop, without scanning, since my scanner is still broken and I don't have Illustrator on this computer.

Damn, I really need to get a light pen (yeah, I know they're not called that anymore, but that's the only name I can remember)...
