Photos I took of this evening's sunset from my apartment balcony. My favorite one is the fourth one.

That first one was pretty screwball.

Have you ever seen a sunset that made the sky look purple? 8)

Still, nice pics though.

Oh, yeah. This was just tonight's sunset. 8) We get a lot of red sunsets, though. But it's not uncommon to have other colors. :P

I kinda like the 3rd one best. I should have taken some photos today. Air quality was exceptionally clear today. I was near Mt Diablo which is a big state park.

Ver...those are great shots, man, Except they all have power lines in them...are there any vantage points near where you live you could get just the sunset? I would like to have a pic of one, those are really beautiful....We don't get shit like that here in Florida. maybe has something to do with the sand out where you live? Anyway, In FL, we get one or two good ones a year. unless you are right on the coast. The west coast. Otherwise it's just at your back. Bah. Sometimes I hate it here...

Unfortunately, no, I don't have a better vantage point. These were taken from my apartment balcony, and unfortunately we have a bunch of townhouses in construction right behind us, so the view of the actual city is gone.

But I actually prefer them with the power lines because you don't get to see this in a city that often. I mean, yeah, it happens here all the time, but each sunset is a different experience. And if you want one of them, I don't care if you save them. Just remember who took it. ;)
