How far can a regular person stick out their tongue?

Kiss kind of played a role in this thinking, and not to mention I've been taking notice of my tongue lately.
Specifically when I do this.

My tongue's about as long as yours, but my friend Marquis has a really long one on the order of six inches! *thinks about what that tongue can do* BOING!!!!!!!!

If you cut that little thingy that attaches your tongue to your lower jaw, you can have a tongue like Gene Simmons. That's what he did to get his, after all.

Hard to tell length from the front perspective. Try this perspective.

The members of SD.net, who've decided that measuring dick size just isn't enough have now gone on to measure other parts.
