I'm making an art project for a relative of mine for his work. While it doesn't have any text yet and isn't quite finished, I did finish the jet portion of the piece.
Figgered I might as well post it here and if informed individuals would want to comment on it, then by and by that would be ok.

Cause the person I am doing it for said "Make it black and gold".

Heh, looks like it could be a GDI F-15. Nice drawing.

Well, I think it's intended to be a Steelers F-15, but it can scour the skies of NOD planes and the Cleveland Browns with equal vigor.

We need to kill Gil and implant his brain into a computer system hooked up
to Photoshop to churn out endless Sigs and other images for us

Is the armament unbalanced intentionally? And you know, F-15's get painted all gray for a very good reason.

Actually, the armament is the same as it was in the picture I was told to use. And yes, the original was all grey, but I was told, "Make it black and gold." If you want Sea Skimmer, I can make it all grey very easily by clicking two buttons. But only because it's you, man.

Cel shading....gotta love it. Great job. Draw an Abrams next.
Make it Mauve and Periwinkle.

Is it a cel-shaded 3D mesh, or a photoshop manipulation? If it's a mesh then nice job man. If it's photoshop then it's *meh* cos I'm a 3D man through and through.

It's neither a 3d cel shading or a photoshop manipulation, though I did make it in photoshop. I used the Photoshop pen to create shapes, with various transparancies and stacked them. I didn't use a single photoshop filter or tool on the photo itself.

I was going to go "you cheated and used a model, didn't you?" followed by the ever-popular
smiley ... then I read the thread.
Nice job anyhoo
