Some new alien ship designs for 'Dragons: The Runner” to round out the fleet.



Dragon Strike Boat

Very fast and agile for it's size the strike boat is a pack hunter designed to attack much larger vessels by coordinating complex strafing maneuvers in groups of six or nine. The strike boat is armed only with a single plasma beam with a limited forward firing arc, and is therefore very succeptable to fighter craft.

Dragon Artillery Platform

Slow and clumsy, the Artillery Platform fires massively powerful bio-plasma bolts. The plasma is directed long distances by three gravitic emitters that form the charge and then release it at the target. The projectile is slow and poses little threat to smaller vessels, but is highly effective against capitol ships. The platform is also armed with a half dozen plasma flak turrets that make fighter attacks prohibitively dangerous. The platform's primary weakness is it's slow acceleration rate and lack of manuverability, it is therefore succeptable to destroyers, frigates, or any vessel that can outflank it.

They still need texturing obviously.

Angelfire/Lycos simply stinks. (Ironic that they're using more bandwidth to display the error page than they would be to simply display the image...)

Sorry about the red Xs. Between these and that weapons test avi I overspent my angelfire bandwidth. They should all be up now.

The Dragon Destroyer almost has the same basic shape as the Covenant Ships

VERY nice. I love the looks of these Dragon ships, especially the Scimitar and the Matriarch.

Did some work with texture specularity and added a bit of light glow. Looks more alive now I think...
