Overall i like the shape and design, you've obviously taken naval vessels as your design basis and worked it up from there. The prow gives the impression of size and power with it's straight lines being similar to early 20th century Dreadnoughts, and the turrets complete the look. However, the ship philosophy and the turrets themselves are also pointers to the weaknesses in the design as well.

You have launchers mounted for giving broadsides, but turrets replaced such mounts in the navies of the world because they were much more flexible and accurate in targetting and manouevering. Indeed you can't really broadside anyone in space without first going through a great deal of manouevering as you have the added complexity of a third dimension to take into account as well, which also renders turrets mounted only on the top half as useless as well. No one going to attack from below then?

The only use I could see for such a 'broadside' arrangement would be as a surprise or extremely long range weapon in huge fleet engagements, or perhaps as a sustained planetary bombardment weapon for reducing cities to rubble, but then I'd like to see some turrets covering the lower half too.

The broadside arrangement was basically intended as a homage to the Wing Commander Movie / Honor Harrington ... and also because I didn't want to do turret programming for importing into Homeworld
