Those Fiver ships are PHUCKED! Their weapons fire is apparently being effortlessly eaten for breakfast by the ISDs' shields...

Hmm, that's like saying deep space needs more breathable oxygen.

Hehe, I saw a thumbnail on google (the actual image didnt want to work) of Martian fighting machines from the musical version of War of the Worlds going up against Tie Interceptors, image was too small to see who was winning mind you.

Maybe it's derelict and that's why they're not all dead.

DEFENSE FLEET ANNIHILATED BY ALIEN SHIPS!
This is the last known photograph of the 5th Defense Fleet. Immediately following a skirmish with the Vorlorns, several unknown ships entered the fray. Panicking, the fleet commander ordered a full broadside. What happened next is still unclear, as only one Starfury was recovered intact.
The pilot of the Starfury, one Lieutenant Wales, suffered a concussion when he was battered by the shockwave of an exploding capital ship. As of yet, he reports no memories of his last few minutes awake. "The last thing I remember is that we'd just finished off our opponents and then these two giant ships just dropping out of nowhere," he says. "It was like some kind of sick joke."
Cleanup crews report no other survivors from the 5th. ""Ships were ripped apart, and some were partially liquified," one resuce boat crewer stated. "There was no way anybody could have survived."
The Naval Command has responded to the situation by ordering the 3rd and 8th Fleets to search for these mystery ships. "We've orderd them to eliminate these unknowns with extreme predjudice," Admiral Desjardins commented. "But the problem is, we can't tell where they've gone. It's like they popped up, attacked, and dropped out of existence. It's making finding them very frustrating."
Further reports to come as the situation develops.

I'm having trouble with the red beams. One looks like either the ISD is firing it, or it hasn't hit yet. The other, I can't tell if the ISD or the Victory is supposed to be firing it; neither makes any sense.
Image 80 isn't a bad shot of the Executor. Much of the collection is rather crappy, though.

"Commodore! Unidentified ships approaching out of some kind of subspace rift!, they are firing weapons!"
"Shields up, launch fighters. Give me a damage report!"
"Sir, they didnt even scratch our armor plating"
"You must be joking, those ships are as large as we are..."
"No joke sir, the estimatedyield of the weapons b my esimates is in the low megaton range"
"Hehe, fire 1 turbolaser at their lead ship"
"yes sir"
"Damage?"
"Enemy ship has been vaporized sir"
*bridge crew cracks up in giggeling fits*
