I took a break from work today and banged out this generic little 'Trek ship.

Obviousy far from a finished product, but what do you think?

Reminds me of an X-Wing.

I like the nacelle design, and the engineering hull dorsal detail, but it is very x-wing ish, as the man says...

What you trying to do with that ship, set a Warp Speed Record? To me it looks like you're trying to fit the smallest hull you can with the biggest engine systems you can build onto it, not that I have a problem with that. I also like the photorp tube below the bow. That would work great for a fast attack ship like your 'Warp Racer' you've got here.

EDIT: As for the 'X-Wing'-ish look, I don't give a shit. I think it looks kewl!

The nacelles should all be aligned in the same direction. Almost every Trek ship has that.

George Lucas is so going to sue your ass.

That said, it looks good so far.

Saucer's hella better now. :)

Disregard all the 'X-wing this', 'X-wing that' mumbo jumbo. It's your ship after all...

Does it look more era-specific now?

Yes it does. It's rather Excelsior-ish.
