Ravi Sankar is supposed to be a water world. I had to use earth clouds for it, otherwise it would have looked horribly plain. Fountainhead is a desert world, and Phoebus is a gas giant. The satellites' orbits' are visible because it looks cool. :)

im glad you like Kuja

Do you mind me using all 4 (and perhaps more  ) planetscapes in my RPG? By use, I mean the planet names, any descriptions, plus the images as a kind of "Ok gang, here you are; this is Fountainhead, Desertworld - population: You."

They're all cool, particularly Ravi Sankar. The only thing that bugs me is the oval-shaped white star Phoebus orbits.

For Phoebus:

Saturn's rings made transparent-like jupiter's cloud formations...coloration of... screw it. Just tell us how you compiled those! :)

use anything you want just keep the credits on the bottom.

the "oval" star aint really oval, it just looks it because the glare is passing through gas and junk. or you could say that the star has such a high rotation rate that its deformed into an oblate spheroid.

oh, chardok, if you have PS7 just open up the parent folder (http://66.176.46.28/cg/planet_scene/) and open the PSD files. I should add a thing in there declaring the pictures open source.

Very pretty, but the waterworld should have far more clouds. Think of Kamino, it is encapsulated in a permanant storm.

I found the same site and am working on a planet myself. :)

EDIT: And how'd you afford Photoshop? I'm having trouble replicating the same effects on PSP...

Ahh...

I can't do any with PSP because it lacks the ability to spherize a planet, though I doubt it could add an atmosphere, too.
