You know the more I think about the more the Hapan design is just shit.
Your render however is just fantastic!

Ditch the guns. They're pretty much worthless in those positions.
Otherwise it's great. Just wish you'd actually come back to these threads of yours and respond to the feedback instead of just disappearing until doing another one. it's nice to know when someone actually acknowledges critiques.

Trust me, I do read EVERYTHING you say, and I do appreciate it, I often simply can't think of a reply.
Firing arcs and a bit of story:
During the Vuuzan Vong wars the Hapans made great leaps in weapons technology. Toward the end of the war they fielded the first prototype of a new line of StarCruisers, the Siege Dragon. Given the success of the Battle Dragon, and it's now legendary silhouette, associated with Hapan military victory, the new class of vessel was designed along similar lines, while the Siege Dragon had massivly improved firepower both in overall yield and in refire rates.

Great design, Original yet retains a lot of Hapan qualties, I love the guns. especially the ability to fire forward. Im guessing it doesnt present much of a profile head to head either.
Starfighter carrying capabilties?

Big hanger in the forward 'notch'.

Designed kinda like some real early British and German dreadnaughts, with side guns. They theoretically had a lot of guns able to fire foreward, but in action having a target even a few degrees off of center would reduce the salvo by a gun or two. I see the same problem here. Theoretically a lot of guns can fire foreward, but go 10-15 degrees off center and you've just lost two guns.

It kinda looks more B5-ish than SW ... I could be judging the scale wrong though.

No, then 2 more guns come to bear as two are going our of arc. The only area it is weaker is from directly behind, where it could have as little as 5 guns in arc at a time.

A very good design overall. It reminds me of a Basestar. Also, thank god someone finally gave the Hapan real battleships as opposed to the spining-tops-o'-death they had before. Hopefuly LucusArts will get a grip with teh funky designs and start drawing good old daggers again. I think the point when it started to freak me out was when they came up with a ship shaped like a dragonfly.
