Human Dreadnought: High Detail
For "Dragons: The Runner"- I decided to add more detail to this mesh as it will be seen very close up in some shots.
It still needs more work, but It's getting there...

Are those guns on the bow?
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong
But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

The turrets I don't have a problem with. But what's the point of the smaller forward guns? Nice work though. Looks good.
For some reason I had to type that three times to avoid typing it in leet. That was weird.

Very nice.
Gives an air of menacing and with a hint of sleek.
Though a lot of guns for a frontal assault.

Same here. IMHO it looks like the bastard child of a Centauri Primus-class battlecruiser and an upgunned Star Destroyer.Sir Sirius wrote:Funny, I was thinking about the Centauri Cruiser (the larger one).Peregrin Toker wrote:Looks more like a Narn cruiser to me.

What's the big thing sticking out the bottom?

Um, okay, you have twelve big ass forward guns which I assume are the main antiship armament. You then have another 16 medium guns in the same blocks, four light guns farther to the sides, and another 8 light guns in dorsal pods. All of these fire forward. I doubt these are really anti-air, because they are way bigger than the turreted guns, and I assume the larger turrets are worth firing at capships. The medium guns I suppose might be good for trying to hit smaller warships, if your big guns are really slow to charge, but why the light guns? And why not turret something that size?Fuzzy Modem wrote:Anti-Air or maybe [you're] looking at the comms antenna.Alan Bolte wrote:The turrets I don't have a problem with. And if I'm wrong, then what's the point of forward-firing anti-air guns on a dreadnought?
