We'll the time has come atlast to model the Dragons themselves.
Subdivided Surfaces in Maya.
I'm not very happy with my work on this mesh so far, I'm hoping I can turn it around...
Any comments or critisisms would be GREATLY appreciated.

The tweaks work better because now I can see the eyes.
The second picture with the mouth open...on the left hand side, it's little hard differentiating the mouth from the background.

I like them ... but maybe you can use more than one light source. Some of the pictures are too dark and one can not see all the details.

The revisions are very nice. I can't think of a thing to change.

Went back a few steps and made some major changes. I'm finally reaching a level of hapiness with this model, I think I'll start on the body soon.

Body, wings and tail. (Still needs limbs) I'm not liking t again. Thinking of scrapping it and starting over...

The head looks nice...but I gotta agree with you, the body and wings and whatnot do not mesh well together.

Hmm, i don't like that at all, the neck looks all droopy and annoying, in the wrong place. I suggest a longer horizontal body, with a humanoid-esque torso sticking out of it with arms(perhaps some longer ones and 2 smaller ones, like an alien queen), like a shadow or centaur. As for wings, i'd give it much larger ones(again, perhaps 2 sets, a main pair from behind the ribs, and a secondary smaller maneuvering pair), and remember that skin flaps stick to the body as well as the fingers.
At least, that's what i think'd look good.
EDIT: Forgot to say i loved the head.

I dont really like the second set of eyes on the sides.
The heads to large for the body, and the wings are to small to be useful.

The body needs major revising. The head render is cool, but maybe you could add a bit more spikes, make the cheeks look rougher. AND THE EYES!!! The eyes look wrong! They don't look vicious! Hell, it kinda makes your dragon alien look cute

I'm scrapping this design and letting a friend of mine make this model. I just don't seem up to the task.

Your okay for the task. You just need vision, that's all. All you need to do is to make your dragon look EVIL and SADISTIC and VILE!!! Something that will tear out your guts and suck out your entrails!

Posted this at SB, too. Figgered I'd post it here as well, 'cuz, y'know... get different opinions on my suggestion.
But, yeah. Dragons. More sleek, smooth, less big and bulky. Like this:

Actually, bulky and big dragons are all okay, just so long as they are cool and look like they could tear you a new asshole and pull out your intestines through said hole.
