Here's a thing: I'm havign problems seeing some pics.

Including my sig banner, but also the board logo.

Any ideas what's wrong?

Which browser do you use?

So far I've seen it with IE.

Mozilla, but it's also not working under IE.

It thinks I'm viewing a 32x32 pic, which neither is.

Just testing but if I put in my post can you see it?

no. I've also tried copy/pasting the URL into another tab or IE.

yeah, I've got Norton running, and i think my ISP provides something.

Haven't noticed the lack of a banner on the front page before, though.
And I can see other images from the same directory.

Hmmm, yeah that was going to be another question but since you can see any other pic from that directory....it's not that.

i think they have some sort of firewall that blocks certain stuff,. (someone tried to send a fake malicious package to me to show me how to do it, but it didn't even reach my computer) maybe its acting up for you, probably only a temp problem...

GR, I can see other images from the server. I'd have a hell of a time surfing this board if I couldn't see the pics.

And IIRC, I've hosted stuff for you before that's worked fine..

Yep, I can see that fine.

It's not as good as the one i've got saved on my hard drive, though

I was having the same problem as InnerBrat (running Netscape with Norton) so I turned Norton off and bingo all the pictures showed up.

I wonder what freaky configuration thing I'm going to have to do to get them to show up with Norton on.

OK, just diasble NIS completely, and it worked.
Wasn't the firewall, though.

Figured out the sort of problem. It's the ad blocker....

Ah cool...well that sucks, that you had to take down an Ad blocker though.

I was working up to that part. I was just hoping it wasn't that part because I like blocking a lot of ads.

I wonder if the ad trashcan still works even if the automatic ad blocker isn't turned on?

This helps solve another problem I was having earlier this week.

I tried putting one of these in my sig.



It showed up fine when I was at work but when I got home it didn't show up at all. Now I know why.
