The guy who made that is amazing. Sooo many details. The first model is good enough, but then he goes and makes it into an SD(P), and adds even more details to it by page 6.

Not that impressive or difficult to do, just a great use of references and/or imagination to figure what should go on it.

SOmeone doesn't seem to understand how an X-Ray head works... nor does an SD(P) == ESSD.

A Ghost Rider antiship penis, to be precise.

What does his post have to do with an X-Ray warhead? He's a bit off with his ESSD thing, but apart from that?
And shipboard beam weapons are focused using gravity lenses...

If someone dropped a 50 megaton nuke on my ISD, I'd have to say 'Bless You'. IMO joule for joule someone sneezing at my head does more damage...

To be fair, contact nukes are almost useless against modern HH ships, and their energy broadsides are way more powerful...

"Hell the missiles use 50 megaton nukes just to START the warheads" -- he seems to be implying that there will be some sort of chain reaction when you detonate it to get > 50MT out. That's nonsense.

Ahhh, I see :)
Giving him some leeway in his wording, he is almost correct. The nukes do feed the lasing rods in the warhead, so it is some kind of "chain reaction", though not exactly like he thinks it is
