Finally it's done. After 2 hours of rendering time and some dozends of hours of work:

You have to know a little bit about "Aliens" to get the title.
Well.. at least for me it's clear where they are from
Done with Blender 2.32

VERY COOL
The lighting mixed with the look gives a nice dark feel with just the right focus on the big bad Hive mother

Nice
Even the room shows a bit of a Geigeresque influence on the architecture

Awesome. Make sure to watermark that, you don't want it to get stolen.

Incredible! Very good job, I think that would make a great wallpaper. A few problems though...the Queen is too shiny, especially her lower parts, and the chambers containing the eggs and the Queen, they stand out too much while the rest of the room is dark. Maybe the darkness could be lessened or the chambers could emit a glow, an eerie one.
But aside from those insignificant stuff, I say it's awesome. The lower right corner looks realistic, gritty, metallic and cool. The tubes resemble the tenticles of the Sentinels from The Matrix. The darkness looks good and the surroundings is very well done. The floor is fantastic and the wall looks awesome, the ceiling is also cool. Very well done and very realistic. I can't believe it would take you just 2 hours to do this, I'm just your average guy with no experience in this stuff and from what I know (which is nothing), it would take days or a week to do this!
Hrrmm...the eggs look too...the same. Maybe there could be some differences and whatnot. The posture of the Queen isn't too good too. She looks too human, she should have a posture of a dinosaur!

Dont get me wrong
The computer needed 2 h to calculate the picture. I needed about 120h to do the queen and about 60 h to do the scene.
And yes you are right, the queen specularity is too high, i'll do another picture with fixed values. But since it takes 2 h to create just one pic, this wil need some time

That didn't bother me; I assumed there was powerful lighting in the chambers.
Anyway, it's an awesome-looking picture. I bow to Antares' graphical skillz.

sweet image. very matrix-ish/lovecraftian the way it's designed.

Most Excellent. I agree with the Matrix/Lovecraft/Giger schtick: You have it down pat
Copyright it, watermark it, and get a lawyer: Stuff this good attracts thieves...
EDIT: And ask around for a modeling/rendering/etc job with a game company. You can make serious money (think $
$$$$) with the talent you have!

i never used a tutorial ^^
like programming i learned everything i know about blender by testing.
the only things i used for learning were some models which i downloaded from other artists
btw:
how should i "watermark" a pic? adding a hashvalue or something?

Add a transparent layer of your "trademark" over the picture..
Some people will just throw a fairly large watermark over the image with hardly noticeable lettering, some will try to adjust so that it seems part of the image, but either way so it doesn't detract from the picture. Should be a copyright of your name and year, normally.

Well, the area immediate to the chambers weren't glowing, so it looked a little bit weird. But maybe I'm just being too scrutinizing.
Anyway, it's an awesome-looking picture. I bow to Antares' graphical skillz.
