Just a little distraction piece, not intended for anything in particlar.
About 8 hours worth of work so far, I know it needs alot more detail, especially around the edges. Just this little render so far, to get an initial impression from you. I'll have 4 large renders finished by morning, and I'll update this post then.
Thoughts?
***UPDATE***
Added 4 large renderings.

Dude, have you been looking through my minds eye, because that's pretty dang close to how I've pictured my
Venture class fleet carriers in the STGOD.

Maybe it's me, but i get the feeling of an ARMD from Robotech when i look at it. Very nice, very military

Awesome! I love the detail. It looks more like a space platform rather than an actual ship. I love the hard metal look and it would look really bad ass if it were bristling with weapons, but it's a carrier
but a swarm of starships exitting it would still be really bad ass.

I think I missed it, but why are you doing these models? are you making a movie or a game
?
Asking out of ignorance, cause the quality is so good, I was thinking.

It would have been better if you had reverse thrusters on it. Rotating engines would mean complex moving which could fail easily.

This one is just for fun, but alot of the others are for a movie I'm making...

Nice look. Those bridges things from the top look very much like some buildings from SW
And I'm glad that you make your renders brighter.

Wow, a nice blend of actual utilitarian no frills design and good old scifi silly little odd bits sticking out of the hull.
Protecting the cosmos for H's everywhere!

As do I. Actually, now that I look closer, this fits more my idea of the Warhammer class, but that's a guided missile cruiser, not a carrier...
